Commerce Cloud

Commerce CloudB2B & D2C Commerce on the core platform, B2C Commerce (SFRA, cartridges), headless commerce with SCAPI & PWA Kit, and Order Management.

The Salesforce Commerce Landscape: A developer's map of Salesforce commerce: B2C Commerce (the former Demandware platform), B2B and D2C Commerce on the core Lightning platform, legacy B2B stacks, Order Management, headless and composable options, and where Data 360 and Agentforce fit, plus a decision framework for choosing between them.

B2B and D2C Commerce on Lightning: Build and extend B2B and D2C stores on the core platform: the WebStore data model, entitlements and pricing, search indexing, LWR storefront components with commerce/* modules, the Cart Calculate API and Commerce extensions, payment gateway adapters and the Connect REST commerce resources, finishing with a custom shipping calculator in Apex.

B2C Commerce Development with SFRA: Develop on Salesforce B2C Commerce: realms and code versions, cartridges and the cartridge path, the Storefront Reference Architecture (controllers, middleware, models, ISML), the dw.* Script API, hooks, custom objects and site preferences, the jobs framework, current tooling (the B2C CLI and dw.json), logging and performance, ending with a complete delivery-promise feature.

Headless Commerce: SCAPI, SLAS and the Composable Storefront: Build headless commerce on Salesforce: the Salesforce Commerce API (Shopper and Admin APIs) and how it replaces OCAPI, SLAS shopper authentication (public and private clients, PKCE, guest and registered flows), commerce-sdk-isomorphic, PWA Kit and Storefront Next on Managed Runtime, custom SCAPI endpoints and hooks, headless B2B/D2C with Connect REST, and performance, with end-to-end code from search to placed order.

Salesforce Order Management: Master Salesforce Order Management (SOM): the order data model from Order to OrderSummary, FulfillmentOrder, Invoice, CreditMemo and ReturnOrder, the order lifecycle, Flow orchestration with SOM core actions, ConnectApi Apex classes for order summaries, fulfillment, funds and refunds, Omnichannel Inventory, integration patterns with B2C Commerce and ERP/WMS, and an Agentforce order-status action.
